Old Spice Makes Another Viral Ad Four Years Later

Four years ago Old Spice took their space in the Internet hall of fame through an advertisement placed on Youtube. The advert “The Man Your Man Could Smell Like” has now gathered an impressive 59 million views and still actively gets comments. Fours years later they release this gem:

The video follows a mothers despair and denial and a fathers relief over their son becoming a man. All courtesy of Old Spice which “sprayed a man of their boy.”

AdWeek comments, “The rest of the spot is a showdown between mothers and fathers, with amusing lyrics—music company Walker worked on the spot, with music and words by Bret McKenzie from Flight of the Conchords—and increasingly outlandish visuals, echoing the first ad. (The mom under the ice is the best bit here.)”

This ad is a clever sequel of “Momsong” which you can watch here.
